ABOUT THE HOST COMPANY:

- We’re looking for a Web Developer Intern.
- Our host company offers meaningful work experience, strong supervision, supportive work environment, and is planning to offer permanent employment for the suitable candidate.
You must:
- be studying a relevant degree qualification or a recent graduate.
- have excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
- have the necessary technical and soft skills to perform the job.
- be committed to a career in your field of study.
- be able to work at least 3 days per week.
LEARNING OUTCOMES:
You could be provided work experience in the following areas:
- Writing efficient code
- Creating websites and software using standard HTML/CSS practices
- Working closely with web designers and programmers to produce the website
- Constant communication with other colleagues in the business to develop and deploy their content – and ensuring there is a clear establishment of what can be created within what timeframe
- Researching different software programs, maintaining software documentation
- Implementing contingency plans in case the website goes down
- Maintaining and expanding/enhancing the website/software once built
LOCATION:
The host company is located at Macquarie Park NSW.
